Parking - Victoria Regan

People that park their cars on the main roads need to be more cognizant of how they park!
Parking next to stop sign (illegal) or sticking out 1-2 feet  from the curb, especially where the road bends is a recipe for disaster.
I've had to avoid one car in particular (Brattleboro) and this appears to be just an easy way for the kids/grandkids to enter the home from the backyard.
Very frustrating.
Also folks at the end of the cul de sacs that park over the sidewalks – not only illegal but not very considerate…

Thank You,
Victoria

Litter In Our Community - Rich Despins

YOU CAN HELP!
Once again our yard and the common property adjacent to us are littered with newspaper and cardboard blown here from those residents who may not be aware of the litter problem in our community. This happens often on recycling or trash pickups days. I am aware that other parts of our community experiences this too. This is caused by some residents that do not cooperate in how they should handle what they put out for pickup. Everyone should do their best to help keep our community clean as well as saving the association cost for community clean up. Here is how:
 • Recycling containers must have the heavy items like newspaper and magazines IN THE BOTTOM so the containers do not blow over easily.
 • Cardboard, newspapers and other LIGHT ITEMS CANNOT BE PUT ON TOP as they are certain to blow off and create a mess in the community.
 • Trash MUST be put in containers and NOT IN PLASTIC BAGS. Animals and birds, especially crows, tear into the bags and the results are that the contents blow all over the neighborhood.
 • If you have more materials for recycling than can fit in the yellow container provided use another container with a yellow sticker affixed that can be picked up at the management office. If you don’t have another container you can obtain another yellow one at the Department of Public Works for $13.
 • If it’s windy or the forecast is for wind for the next day USE COMMON SENSE and do not put out your trash or recyclables out the night before the scheduled pickup. This continued practice by some of our residents not only deteriorates the appearance of our community but creates a potential health hazard by attracting rats.
Remember, IT COSTS THE ASSOCIATION $1,000.00 each time a cleanup has to be done as it has been done in the past. It costs an additional amount for the clean up of the ponds when the recyclable materials, especially plastic bottles, get flushed by rain into our storm drains.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
